Welche Status durchläuft ein Auftrag?
A work order goes through five statuses, from booking to handing the car back. The statuses and what each one means are below.
Kurzantwort
- A work order goes through five statuses: scheduled, received, in progress, ready and delivered; an order can also be cancelled.
- Moving to “received” and to “delivered” saves its own date.
- After delivery, the order can no longer be edited.
- You can move straight to a later status if you skip steps.
What each status means
- Scheduled: the order exists with its booking date; the car has not arrived yet.
- Received: the car is at the workshop, with the mileage and the customer's complaint.
- In progress: the mechanics are working, and the labour and parts lines are filled in.
- Ready: the work is finished and the car is waiting to be picked up.
- Delivered: the car has left and the order is closed.
Common mistakes
- Orders left open after the car has gone: the work list fills up with finished jobs.
- Orders moved straight to “delivered” without reception: the reception date becomes the delivery day, so the cycle time comes out wrong.
